Solar Panel Cleaning in Running Springs
At six thousand feet on the Rim of the World, Running Springs gets strong mountain sun, but the same forest that makes it beautiful is hard on solar. Pine pollen coats the panels yellow every spring, needles and sap drop through the season, woodstove smoke films the glass, and winter storms throw grit and ice melt across the array. A coated panel in Smiley Park or Arrowbear can quietly lose 15 to 25 percent of its output. Dutch Touch has cleaned mountain solar since 1991 and keeps a real crew up here.
Professional Panel Washing
A garden hose cannot touch baked on sap and pollen, and the hard water up here dries into spots that shade the glass. We run a purified water system that lifts the pollen, needles, and film and leaves the panels spotless, with no residue and no streaking, and no harsh scrubbing that would risk the warranty.
Trusted Mountain Solar Cleaners
Mountain arrays sit on steep cabin roofs and tall A-frames, which is its own kind of job. Our crew is equipped for the pitch and the height and works the panels safely from above. Most owners run a spring clean after pollen season and a fall touch up, so the array never drifts far from full output through the snow months.
We can take care of the rest of the home’s exterior in the same trip, and you can see how our solar cleaning works before you book. Every job is run by the same family crew that started in 1991.

Understanding Solar Panel Cleaning
Most homeowners assume the rain handles it, but a light rinse just spreads dust into a film and leaves mineral spots behind as it dries. Panels need a proper cleaning to actually recover lost output. A professional cleaning clears the soiling, restores the light hitting each cell, and pays for itself in the production you get back. After a clean, many systems jump noticeably the same month, which on a financed array is money straight back to your bill.
Protect Your Solar Investment
A solar system is one of the biggest upgrades you can make to a home, and dirty panels quietly chip away at the return on it every month. Regular cleaning keeps the array producing what it was designed to, protects the glass and seals over the long run, and keeps your payback on schedule. Call (909) 790-3097 for a free quote.

Boost the Output of Your Solar Array
Running Springs gives solar clean high-elevation sun, but pine pollen, sap, and winter storm grit pile onto the glass between cleanings. Dutch Touch clears that buildup with safe, purified water methods that restore output and protect the money you put into the system.
Why it matters: soiled panels shed a real slice of their production, and on a financed array that is power you are paying for but not making. Pollen and shade build up faster than people expect, so a clean brings the glass back to clear and the array back to capturing the full sun.
It also protects the hardware. Replacing panels is expensive, and routine cleaning heads off the staining and damage that sap, pollen, and hard water leave behind. Our licensed and bonded crew lifts the buildup without scratching the glass or stressing the seals.
With more than 34 years across Southern California, we bring the right gear and the safety training for steep mountain roofs. You never climb a ladder or walk a roof yourself. We handle the access, the cleaning, and the cleanup, and keep a flexible schedule so the pollen and storm grit never get too far ahead.
What Our Customers Say
Dutch Touch is great at what they do! I worked for them years ago, (during summers from college) and was impressed by how well this company is run. They are professional, honest, and caring to every client, regardless of the size of the job. During my time there we cleaned the windows of multi-million dollar mansions, single-wide mobile homes, commercial buildings, and whole colleges.
There is no such thing as a window that cannot be reached with them, and you’ll be amazed how much better your whole house looks with clean windows (and mirrors, lighting fixtures, etc.)
I will give one warning: once you hire Dutch Touch, you’ll probably become a customer for life. Every time I visit Lake Arrowhead, I see their red trucks parked outside houses I worked at years ago!
These guys are the real deal. My windows were a mess after we had some construction done in the backyard-dust and dirt over everything. My brother in law had just had his windows done by Dutch Touch and highly recommended them (he is a clean freak, so I trusted him). Called on a Friday and they were out Monday to give an estimate. Ended up booking an appointment ( first available was 2 1/2 weeks out – they are busy in July), but no problem.
Two guys came out ( they were early, but that was ok with me), clean, matching shirts, introduced themselves-very professional. They put on booties before entering the house and explained exactly what they would do. Great job on the windows and screens. They even were able to get rid of some hard water stains left by a wayward sprinkler.
Definitely will be using this company again.
